The Punjab government has imposed Section 144 in the Model Town
According to the statement issued by the Interior Ministry, people will not be allowed to gather for any procession, and carry or display arms and ammunition in public after the imposition of Section 144.
Also, no one will be allowed to carry sticks, petrol bombs, gas masks or any other sort of tool/weapon that could be used for any torturous act.
During the imposition of Section 144, speeches inciting hatred and chaos will also be banned.
